Hello, I am delighted to welcome you to the website of Owl Technical Services Limited (Owltech), here’s a short introduction.
I have spent all of my working life employed by one corporate entity or another but over recent years, have had a growing “itch” inside. Now, don’t get me wrong here, I am hugely grateful to each and every one of my former employers for the challenges they have provided and the experience they have given me as I would not be the person I am today without all of this. BUT, once you get an “itch” you cannot ignore it. My “itch” was the desire to be my own boss, be in charge of my own destiny. Also, having spent most of my working life travelling around the world (sometimes far too regularly!) I felt the need to spend some time working in my local area, a bit nearer my wife and kids. Mostly, this was all a bit of a pipe dream, until Mid 2012 when I was provided with the opportunity to scratch that “itch”. My employer at the time gave me the option of taking voluntary redundancy. So, after lots of hard thinking, planning and talking AND with the support and love of my wife and family, I started Owl Technical Services Limited (aka Owltech).
Our aim was, and still is to provide a friendly, prompt and uncomplicated IT support service for Small Businesses and Home users in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas of South Buckinghamshire.
This IT Service covers Computers, Networking, Security, Software and, of course, maintenance. The range of services is quite broad and is covered in more detail on our Services page.
We can also offer Audio-Visual systems design and build or freelance install and commissioning services, again more detail on our Services page.
It’s a great feeling to be able to heal a clients IT systems, but afterwards, its critical to keep it healthy for the months/years afterwards.
The Owltech goal is to offer a superior quality of customer service. Relationships, honesty and loyalty are key to us – we want to build open, honest and long term relationships with our clients as well as our suppliers.
If we can’t do it, we’ll tell you (and you won’t pay). If we don’t have time to do it, we’ll tell you BUT we will NOT leave you in trouble. We have a network of partners who we can rely on to help in times of need, offering the same prompt and friendly service that keeps our clients coming back to us.
